Phonetic analysis
Does a name sound similar to yours? Our phonetic algorithms convert brand names into sound patterns and compare them — detecting similar-sounding names even if they're spelled completely differently. Example: 'Adidas' and 'Addydas' look different but sound almost identical.
Visual similarity
Could the names be confused at first glance? Visual analysis compares character structure and compares spellings. Transposed letters, doubled characters, or similar glyphs (e.g., 'rn' vs. 'm') are specifically checked.
Letter distance (edit distance)
How many letters would you need to change to get from one name to the other? The fewer changes required, the greater the similarity. This method catches small but critical differences between brand names.
Scoring system
Every match gets a comparison score in percent and a color code: Red = high score, orange = moderate score, yellow = low score, green = minimal score. This way you can see at a glance which matches stand out.
Nice class matching
